The GEN II Department of Energy and Engineering Technology was formed in September 2005 to address industry demand for high level accredited and customised educational programmes. The primary functions of the department are developing, accrediting and delivering academic programmes for both commercial clients, graduates and apprentices.
Our Curriculum and Educational lecturers have industrial and educational experience in various disciplines, specifically in the key shortage areas of Instrumentation, Control, Nuclear Science, Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance.
In order to deliver our degree and higher level technology courses, we have made significant investments in physical resources such as state of the art Systems and Control Laboratory, Electronics, Nucleonics and Science Laboratories, FE / HE Learning Resource Centre, Industrial Process Rig and an Electrical and Mechanical Systems Facility.
